Full-featured Slim PC for analog signage market

The DS68U is the latest fanless slim PC equipped with Intel® Celeron® 3855U dual-core processor and based on 1.3-liter body design. With built-in Intel® HD Graphics, it provides ample performance for playback 4K content. The DS68U can support dual-screen via HDMI and D-sub video outputs, designed for analog signage market use. The front and rear panel boast built-in RS232, RS232/RS422/ RS485, USB2.0 & 3.0, dual Intel® Gigabit-LAN and more to easily connect with various peripherals. This compact device is not only 24/7 certified and VESA mount-ready but also requires a mere 65W adapter. This makes the DS68U ideally suited for commercial applications such as digital signage, Kiosk, thin Client, office PC, and Multimedia.

Intel® Skylake-U platform technology

The DS68U supports the new Intel® Skylake-U platform technology, equipped with 14nm Intel® Celeron® 3855U 1.6GHz dual core processing power. It features support for up to DDR3L-1600 32GB memory and built-in Intel® HD Graphics, able to deliver Full HD / 1080P or 4K video playback.

Dual Displays

The DS68U provides D-Sub and HDMI video outputs to support dual independent displays. Use an adaptor to convert HDMI into DisplayPort or DVI interfaces for diversified signal selection.

Designed for digital signage, kiosk, POS, and other applications which require 24/7 operation.

Support 4K Ultra HD

The DS68U is not only built-in one HDMI video output to support 4K high resolution (3840x2160), but also specially designed one D-sub video output to support analog monitor applications (1920x1200).

Built-in two M.2 expansion slots

The DS68U features two M.2 slots. One (M.2 2230) is already pre-install a WiFi card. The other is M.2 2280 with type M to install M.2 SSD or other compatible devices, proving a strong expansion capacity.

Support RTC Alarm Everyday or Any day

In addition to standard Power on by RTC function, the DS68U is able to power on at specific times according to specific days as opposed to every day(RTC Alarm Everyday/Any day); this can also be turned on and off via the Windows task scheduler.

Energy saving

The exclusive integration low-power consumption design and fan-less cooling, the DS68U runs only 65W adapter in full use and can keep stable for long-time operation; Compared with traditional PCs, a nearly 40% noise reduction during the operation-- ideal for noise sensitive environment like hospitals and libraries.

Fanless design

Multiple I/O Interfaces

With built-in RS232, RS232/RS422/RS485 interfaces, two USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports at the front panel, and two USB2.0 ports at the rear panel, the DS68U can easily connect to peripherals such as thermal printer, label printer and bar code scanner. It offers a wide range of vertical applications.

Dual Intel® Gigabit LAN High Connectivity

The DS68U is built-in Intel® i211 and i1219 Dual Gigabit LAN as well as support for Wake On LAN and Teaming Mode function to provide high-speed data transfer capability and a better compatibility for business network environment.

VESA Mount Capability

The slim DS68U meets international VESA mounting standards and is capable of mounting to the rear of a LCD monitor or a TV.

The Watchdog--Protecting System Security

Use Shuttle’s Watch Dog utility to maintain normal operation and stability of the system at all times.

Easy Installation

The DS68U is designed for easy configuration. Simply remove two screws to complete installation of memory module, storage, and other hardware components.
