Triple displays signage player with new Intel® Braswell platform
Shuttle launches the XS35V5 series slim PC powered by the latest Intel® Braswell platform technology with low-cost and low-power consumption design, it runs on a mere 40 watt adapter. This new series provide two different outlooks, including XS35V5 and XS35V5 Pro. With Intel® 8th generation HD Graphic Engine built into the CPU, the series is able to deliver Full HD video content and supports three independent-screen displays via DisplayPort, HDMI, and D-sub. With thickness of only 38.5mm, the XS35V5 series provides two USB 3.0, three USB 2.0 (one internal USB), and built-in Intel® Gigabit LAN as well as support 802.11b/g/n WiFi for great connectivity. The XS35V5 series is 24/7 certified, operable 0-40 ⁰C environments, and VESA mountable with a fanless cooling design, ideal for digital signage, menu board, thin client, and more applications.
Intel® Braswell Platform Technology
The XS35V5 series supports Intel® Braswell platform technology, equipped with 14 nm Intel® Celeron® N3050 dual-core processor. Support 1.35V DDR3L low-voltage memory with a maximum capacity up to 8GB, able to reduce thermal energy production and overall energy consumption.
Support three independent displays
The XS35V5 series provides HDMI, DisplayPort, D-Sub output to support three independent displays. Use an adaptor to convert HDMI into DVI interface and DisplayPort into HDMI or DVI interface for diversified signal selection.
Fanless Design
The XS35V5 series uses a thermal module with cooled heat pipe and sink to transmit heat throughout the system quickly and evenly. The unique fanless design reduces the power consumption required by a fan as well as the cost of replacing fans. Use with solid-state disks and create an operational platform completely free of noise.
Full HD video content support
TheXS35V5 series is equipped with Intel® Celeron® N3050 dual-core processor and integrated Intel® 8th HD Graphic Engine, capable of playing Full HD video. Users can now send video and sound signal through a single wire with HDMI and DisplayPort connection.
High-speed data transmission interface
With Intel® Braswell platform technology, the XS35V5 series features native SATA 6Gbps and USB 3.0 high-speed storage interfaces. A USB 3.0 port which supports up to 5 Gbps and provides 10 times greater data access speed than a USB 2.0 port.
Internal USB port
Internal USB ports ensure theft protection as USB connected devices are guarded within the chassis. In addition to the USB ports at the front and back panel, the XS35V5 series provides one Type A USB 2.0 port inside the chassis so users can install a USB TV tuner, USB 3G Module, or other USB expanders.
Support wire and wireless high-speed networks
The XS35V5 series has built-in Intel® i211 Gigabit LAN and supports Wake On LAN to provide high-speed data transfer capability as well as a better compatibility for business network environment. With a built-in IEEE 802.11 b/g/n wireless network module*, providing high-speed wireless data transmission speed.*Detail of WiFi support, please refer to the spec sheet.
Flexible configuration of ODD
The XS35V5 series can be configured with either an ODD drive (slim ODD) or an additional hard drive for more storage. Users can also choose the optional accessory PHD2 to support a second 2.5” hard drive or SSD.
VESA Mount-Ready
The slim XS35V5 series is VESA mount compliant and allows for versatile integration into hardware systems. This space saving capability is well-suited for digital signage applications with limited space.
24/7 Nonstop Operation
Shuttle XS35V5 series is officially approved for 24/7 permanent operation. Thanks to Shuttle’s low-power consumption design and provide a stable operating environment, this PC runs highly reliable for long-term demands of digital signage or other vertical applications.
Support Power on by RTC
By entering BIOS to set up the Power on by RTC, XS35V5 series allows user to set a time to boot up the system and to turn off with the Windows task scheduler. This feature will benefit on the electricity and energy saving as well as the elimination the cost of on-site service.
The Watchdog—protecting system security
Watchdog Timer provides excellent security protection for systems that need to operate continuously for a long period of time. Use Shuttle’s Watch Dog utility to maintain normal operation and stability of the system at all times.
