Compact, the SH97R6 packs a powerful Intel® H97 chipset with support for up to Haswell and Haswell refresh 95W processors in a mere 13 liter barebones, a third the size of a traditional tower desktop PC. The SH97R6 is capable of delivering 4K video content on a single screen or Full HD resolution on up to three independent screens via built-in (2) DisplayPorts and (1) HDMI. The system is highly expandable with one PCI-E x16 slot and one PCI-E x4, allowing for installation of dual slot graphics cards, video surveillance cards, and more. Equipped with Shuttle’s proprietary ICE2 cooling engine, the SH97R6 is 80 Plus Bronze certified with a 300W power supply and a full I/O interface, designed for both home and industrial use.

Intel® 4th generation Haswell/Haswell Refresh Core™ i3/i5/i7 as well as Pentium and Celeron Processors. The integrated Intel® HD Graphics core is compatible with DirectX 11.1 support for significantly increased processor and graphics performance.
Equipped with an Intel® 9 series Chipset
The SH97R6 is equipped with an Intel® H97 Express Chipset. It supports dual-channel DDR3 1600 with maximum memory capacity of up to 32GB (8GBx4). The device supports Gigabit LAN, SATA 6Gbps, and USB3.0 high-speed storage interfaces, providing superb data transfer speed.
Integrated Cooling Engine 2 (ICE 2) Heat pipe technology
Shuttle XPC features stable, cool, and silent operation with Shuttle’s ICE 2 heat pipe technology. It uses convection cooling to dissipate heat away from the CPU. The ICE2 copper tubes, coated in nickel for enhanced tube hardness and rust-proof protection, are filled with distilled water to effectively channel heat and provide highly efficient processor and chassis cooling.
Support PCI-E expansion cards
The SH97R6 provides one PCI-E x16 and one PCI-E x4 slot to meet various needs of users. Select the card you want to use, such as multi-display graphic cards, monitor cards, RAID cards, and professional sound cards, etc.
Support 2x Mini-PCIe Slots
The SH97R6 features strong expandability with one full size and one half size Mini PCIe slots. This compact system can support mSATA SSD and WIFI modules, among other compatible modules.
Support 4K Ultra HD
The SH97R6 provides DisplayPort and HDMI video outputs to support 4K Ultra HD (3840x2160). With four times the resolution of Full HD, viewers can enjoy super detailed and crystal clear imaging of 4K.*Intel® Pentium® and Celeron® processors built-in Intel® HD graphics cannot support 4K video playback capability.
Three independent display
Support three independent screens and dual-screen displays via (2) DisplayPort and (1) HDMI interfaces. Use an adaptor to convert HDMI into DVI or DisplayPort to DVI interface for diversified signal selection.*For triple display: convert two DisplayPort signals into HDMI or DVI with one active and one normal DisplayPort to HDMI or DVI cable (adapter).
Flexible expansion of hard disk installation
Shuttle XPC series reserves space for installation of one 5.25” ODD and two 3.5” hard disks. With optional PHD3 accessory users can install a maximum of four 2.5” hard drives or SSDs.Support Intel® Rapid Storage Technology
The SH97R6 is equipped with Intel® latest H97 Express chipset which supports the SATA 6Gbps high-speed storage interface. The system mainboard features four SATA 6Gbps slots, supporting Intel® Rapid Storage Technology, and RAID 0/5/10 disk array operation modes, allowing for faster and more secured data access rates.
Support Wake On LAN
Use BIOS to set up the Wake ON LAN function so that users can power-on from sleep mode, rest mode, or when powered off via the internet.
Support Power-on by RTC
Enter Bios to set-up Power On by RTC function can set system automatic power on. With Windows task scheduler, the system can power off automatically to achieve the goal of saving energy and operation cost.
The Watchdog– Protecting System Security
Watchdog Timer provides excellent security protection for systems that need to operate continuously for a long period of time. Use Shuttle’s Watch Dog utility to maintain normal operation and stability of the system at all times.
Mini-ITX Mainboard Support
Shuttle expands the capabilities of its chassis, adding support for Mini-ITX mainboards (17x17 cm or 6.7x6.7 inches). Shuttle chassis goes beyond the Shuttle mainboard so you can easily upgrade to the mainboard of your desire without any modifications to the chassis.
