Award Recognition: Innovation and Reliability Honored
Mini PC and embedded computing systems provider Shuttle Inc. (Stock Code: 2405) announced that its industrial-grade edge AI computer series—SPC—has been awarded the 2026 Taiwan Excellence Award (34th edition). The SPC series features an ultra-compact design, powerful AI inference performance, and high reliability, making it suitable for a wide range of applications including smart retail, machine vision, automation, and healthcare. The recognition highlights Shuttle’s innovative capabilities in edge computing and smart applications.Ultra Compact Design: Balancing Performance and Size
The SPC series redefines the balance between performance and size for industrial computers with its ultra-compact 0.45-liter chassis. Six models are available, supporting NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano/ NX modules fir high-performance AI inference—ideal for machine vision, autonomous robots, and edge AI applications—and Intel Elkhart Lake low-power embedded platforms, optimized for energy efficiency, device management, and functional safety in industrial IoT and gateway devices. The series accommodates diverse applications, including IoT control, recognition and smart transportation with some models supporting -20°C to 60°C wide-temperature operation for reliable deployment in extreme environments.Flagship Performance: SPCNV13 Delivers 100 TOPS AI Inference
The SPCNV13 features the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX platform, delivering up to 100 TOPS of AI performance, capable of meeting the demands of advanced applications such as autonomous mobile robots (AMR), automation, and machine vision. The entire SPC series meets EN50155 railway and MIL-STD-810G military standards, supports wall-mount, DIN-rail, and VESA installation, and can operate reliably in harsh environments including factories, robotic systems, and outdoor sensing deployments.Focus on Compact Architecture: Shuttle’s Ongoing Strategy and AIoT Positioning
Founded in 1983, Shuttle began with the design of personal computer motherboards and, after launching its first mini barebone PC in 2001, has focused on developing compact computer architectures. With the rapid growth of edge computing, computing hardware demands for lightweight, durable, and on-site computing capabilities have increased. Shuttle places a miniaturized design at its core, balancing durability, modular functionality, and AI performance. The company states that this award not only highlights its R&D strength but also reinforces its clear positioning in the AIoT era—leveraging hardware design to support real-time edge AI computing and reliable deployment.About Shuttle
Established in 1983 and publicly listed since 2000, Shuttle Inc (TAIEX 2405) is an industry leading designer and manufacturer of small form factor (SFF) computers. Shuttle produced the first commercially-successful SFF computer, or Mini PC. It’s engineered to be smaller and more-efficient, yet just as powerful as a full size desktop. Succeeding the high reliability and quality of SFF, Shuttle seeks to provide further rounded solutions for digital home and commercial market.Contact US
