Shuttle Inc., the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of small form factor (SFF) computers today announced the launch of XPC slim XH170V, support the new generation Skylake platform technology. Equipped with Intel® H170 Express chipset and LGA1151 processor, the XH170V supports Intel® 6th Generation Core™, Pentium®, and Celeron® 65W processors. It can play 4K/Ultra HD video content* smoothly. At the back panel of XH170V provides one HDMI and two DisplayPort for three independent screen displays.

The XH170V includes one M.2 2280/2260/2242 slot with type M and one half-size Mini PCIe slot to install an M.2 SSD, Wi-Fi card or other compatible devices, proving a strong expansion capacity. Another key feature of the XH170V is its huge storage capacity. This compact device can install 2.5” HDD (or SSD) and Slim ODD. It also supports installation of an optional 3.5” HDD rack for increased storage through purchase of PHD4 accessory.*

Shuttle’s 3-liter XH170V is a compact platform that features multiple I/O for great connectivity. It includes USB 3.0, SATA 6Gbps, RS232, and Intel® Gigabit LAN. With built-in Intel® 10/100/100 Mbps LAN interfaces will be increased compatibility for business network environments. With one RS232 port, the device can be customized to connect peripherals such as vending machines, thermal printers, and barcode scanners for interactive kiosk, vending machine, and POS applications.
