Shuttle KPC Series K58 Launched

(Taipei, Taiwan, 27 Aug 2008) Shuttle Inc. – the leading designer and manufacturer of small form factor (SFF) computers and accessories today announced to add a revolutionary simple-and-smart PC – K58 to it KPC series lineup. Succeeding the easy, quiet, and green features of its KPC series, K58 fulfills further entertainment needs by providing an optical drive bay. It is more than adequate for watching videos, checking emails, browsing the web, or working with office documents. The customizable MyKover allows users to speak up personal styles and become an eye-catcher whether in office or home.

Power Saving
With the Intel’s all new Atom technology, the K58 has an extremely efficient power saving function. Power consumption of a standard PC would usually take over 300W. The K58 draws less power than 30W in idle mode and 44W in full load mode. All KPC components follow strict standards of RoHS. This is Shuttle’s effort in saving our earth and our next generation.

Extremely Quiet
K58 produces less than 30dBs than the standard cooler which is as quiet as in the library. 12%-15% acoustic will definitely be improved which ensures you a tranquil computing environment.

MyKover
The customizable front panel -MyKover is designed to let users to express personal styles. Creating a stylish look by inserting memorial photos behind the crystal panel or download panel images from Shuttle’s website directly.
